QABash (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at qabash.com — a community platform for software testing engineers, SDETs, and QA professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website and services.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Mistral AI — resume analysis via the AI Resume Screener. Uploaded files are sent to Mistral's API for processing and are not stored by Mistral beyond the API call.
WordPress CMS — content management for articles, blog posts, and community content hosted on cms.qabash.com.
Google OAuth — optional sign-in with Google. We receive only your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third-party data brokers.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and preference storage (theme, reading list). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality such as staying signed in.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
Resume files uploaded to the AI Resume Screener are processed and deleted immediately after analysis. They are not stored on our servers.
Log data is retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Object to or restrict certain processing
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
