I'm based in Southeast Asia and targeting remote SDET roles at US/European companies. The job market feels opaque. Questions: - Beyond LinkedIn and standard job boards, where do good remote engineering roles actually get posted? - For remote roles at US companies, how do you typically handle the contract vs full-time distinction and the tax implications? - What's negotiable beyond base salary? (equity, async work hours, equipment budget, professional development?) I have 4 years SDET experience (Python, Playwright, CI/CD) and am comfortable with the technical side of interviews. The "how to find and close the opportunity" part is where I feel lost.
